Bacon fail! Great chicken

Tried to make some chicken breast wrapped in bacon tonight. Bacon was a complete fail, but the chicken was fantastic. I used some more of the Jim's Own Sauce that was sent to me by elfster @tarheelmatt. That sauce is freakin' awesome.

Thanks @jcaspary, you can dress up pretty much anything with sauce. It really did taste great though despite the bacon mishap.Steven

Looks like the bacon took one for the chicken and kept it from burning. Way to be a team player, bacon, we salute you! (Glass half full)Chicago, IL - Large and Small BGE - Weber Gasser and Kettle

The trick to that kind of cook is to cook indirect with something to catch the fat. Don't move it if you can help it until it's done. That said, sounds like it tasted great, which is what counts.______________________________________________I love lamp..

@stemc33 Glad you're enjoying the sauce. There isn't any of their sauces I do not like. Love them all.------------------------------

Still pretty nice, even with the bacon cooked using Mickey's wing technique. Like the glisten of the sauce on the chicken - good pic.Delta B.C. - Whiskey and steak, because no good story ever started with someone having a salad!
