Well got 6th in pizza. Not to bad I guess.

final results 3rd place in both chiken and pork and 5th overall. Not to bad I guess.

One question- so the fire burns from the bottom up and kind of gravity feeds right? How do you add wood for smoke?

@The Cen-Tex Smoker‌ @sgh yes mine is the internal firebox. Look at the picture with the ribs and brisket and just to the right is them is the firebox and to add wood just lift the lid and toss it in.

It does burn from the bottom and the weight of the lump just kinda falls down to keep burning. Easy easy to use.

so it still smokes chunks on top even though the fire is burning on the bottom? Or does the whole load of lump get going?

It still smokes the chunks but what I have been doing is filling it a little less and adding when I need or so I can always get the chunks on the hot coals.

It is also so well insulated that a few chunks go a long way let me tell ya...lol

awesome. I'm getting close to ordering mine. I can't wait. I'll give you a shout before I do. I'm keeping a list of questions for you. those briskets look great

@The Cen-Tex Smoker‌ thanks and they tasted even better I thought I nailed the rib and brisket this weekend but came in 8th on ribs and 6th in brisket so oops better luck next time.
And any questions just ask.

@tarheelmatt‌ thanks. Wish I could have gotten a few more pictures when the meat was sliced but things were mocking pretty quickly as we did all 6 categories that day.

might do 1 more comp. This year in October but not sure yet.
