New Competition Trailer

I thought I'd upload a pic of the trailer I had put together for our competition team. I bought the trailer 3 weeks ago and had my XL and Jambo offset mounted on it this week. I have a few more things I want to finish for storage but here she is!

Around North Alabama. This will be our 5th year (some years more full time than others)!

Wow that's a nice rig! Congrats. You pulled out a Stump's and put in a Jambo? I don't know a lot about either one but I would like to learn more. Why the change if I may ask?L x2, M, S, Mini and a Blackstone 36. She says I have enough now....eggAddict from MN!

I bought the trailer from a gentleman who took his Stumps off this trailer and put it on a porch trailer. No change for me, I like the egg and also the capacity of the offset for larger cooks.
-
Are you going to Riverfest in Decatur?
-
Yes we will.

-
Cool! I'll try to stop by and say hello after judging is over. That's a pretty sweet rig.

I am working to clear out room for it to be kept in the garage when not in use :-)

That's a great-looking rig. I wish many years and many miles of enjoyment. The high temp silicon you mentioned, how will that be applied? I'm looking for some temperature-reducing substance that I can put between an Egg and a wooden table. Two Large Eggs; Too Little TimeNewtown Square, PA

I plan to adhere it to the metal cross bracing below the egg. I am looking for a sheet of the material to cut and put in place.
-
@Crimsongator I used Rutland high temp silicone to seal mine to the SS and it keeps it movement free and the product has held up even under pizza and searing temps.
That's a sweet looking setup with some unique touches. Complete with pimped out wheels :-). Very nice.LBGE 2013 & MM 2014Die Hard HUSKER & BRONCO FANFlying Low & Slow in "Da Burg" FL -
I am not sure anything I've ever owned has been described as 'pimped out' but heck....thanks :-)

Beautiful set up. How does the jambo cook? I have been trolling their site on and on for the past couple months. They make a beautiful smoker. I just never cooked on one to consider the investment.XL BGEJoe JRBaltimore, MD

It does very well. I've owned it for about 2 yrs. it cooks very evenly and seems to settle in right at 275 easily. I want to tackle a whole hog on it before the year is out. -
@Crimsongator would you mind updating us on your egg-in-trailer design? I'm starting to plan out mine and am trying to figure out how to incorporate the egg (and want to shamelessly copy your idea).Slumming it in Aiken, SC.

Right now it is about 500 miles away and I can't take good pictures. Here are some I have, including one where it was recently stripped down and repainted

So the egg is still holding together with no issues or breakage?Slumming it in Aiken, SC.
