Lol I never thought of it like that. That’s some Hannibal Lecter style sous vide

Unfortunately, I don’t have much detail for you. I bought it second hand and it had been in very rough shape. Painstakingly refinished it and ended up being quite happy with the finished product. I can tell you that I really enjoy the size. Big enough for a lot of prep work or to be used as a buffet when hosting. Also a good size for housing all of my accessories. And as pictured, it’s nice to be able to place the MiniMax on it alongside the Large and still have useable surface area.

@tcampbell- That is a beautiful outdoor living space and one that I'm sure  drives great gatherings coupled with exceptional cooks.
Not knowing your  general location (no palm trees sighted) I am sure you maximize the experience.  Impressive right there.

Tennessee close to Memphis but in the country. So glad I'm not in Memphis, right now it's an active shooter gone crazy. Several shooting and some dead. Still on the loose as of now. Crazy

Temporary right now.  Just rolled them in the slot on the nests for now.  I have some stainless drawer/shelf combos they will sit on.  The eggs will be a fair bit higher than they sit in the nests.  Similar to a challenger table height.

    this is absolutely stunning..

    Have:
XLBGE / Stumps Baby XL / Couple of Stokers (Gen 1 and Gen 3) / Blackstone 36 / Maxey 3x5 water pan hog cooker
    Had:
    LBGE / Lang 60D / Cookshack SM150 / Stumps Stretch / Stumps Baby

    Fat Willies BBQ
    Ola, Ga

  • Okay, finally done.  Looking forward to learning the wood fired oven and cooking some food.  Been missing cooking for months.

    Nice fence!!!

    Seriously, wow - just wow.
How long did this project take from start to finish? The amount of room is unbelievable.

We interviewed 4 or 5 different pool companies and a landscape architect, and eventually settled on a company after 6 months of searching.  The layout with them took about 3 months.  The actual build took 158 days (October 26th - April 2nd).

There were a few weeks here and there with no work being done, so if I was their only job it probably would have been done in half the time.  I also was constantly pushing them because we had a big party scheduled for April 2nd.  They kept saying it wouldn't be a problem, but the morning of April 2nd they were just sanding the pavers and doing some touch-up work.

It wasn't just a kitchen though, it was the entire yard.  I have moved a lot, and this is by far my favorite backyard I have had.  It will make it very hard to leave.

Why would you leave? Wow that is awesome and for a project that size 158 days is not bad. Here where we live we have so many days that weather doesn't allow you to work certain times of the year.

We did a stamped concrete patio that looks very much like yours. Unfortunately the charcoal release, but the charcoal is gone. I don't know if my patio guy screwed it up or I didn't get it sealed fast enough. Patio went in right before winter and waiting until spring to get it sealed

Welcome to the site.  You will learn a lot of "old threads" are actually very active.  We tend to post similar things in a single thread.  A lot of multi-day/month/year conversations.

Your setup looks great!  Love the pizza oven, any details on the build?

Is that your tractor in the background that looks like a Farmall?

Yep we have an 8th generation vegetable farm so we’re around 28 tractors now.
I bought plans from the web site brickwood ovens for the pizza oven. Took me couple weeks to complete. I’ll dig up some pics of the build when I get a chance.
