World's best Brussel sprouts - halved, with onion and a diced sausage, some oil, in a cast iron skillet at 375 for about 45 minutes. (Stirred after photo)

World's most average salmon. Salt lick rub and brown sugar.

Will post finished pics... they won't be the world's best.

Ps, Canada. It's like a whole other country. All y'all put curds on fries.

Thinking of  pulled chicken tacos. Tired of the roasted tomatillo salsa I usually make, so maybe some sort of creamy poblano sauce would be nice.

I'm just trying to maintain some sanity. Two weeks ago we had 2 Grands for 3 days while parents did a photo shoot. Last week we had all 4 Grands for spring break. This weekend we have 2 Grands and the husband bought me a new bottle of vodka. Planning on ribs on Sunday followed by tail lights as we wave goodby. ;;)

not big on deep fried, but vaca frita sounds promising. i think I did something similar when I made beef tongue some time ago.

I'm thinking chicken on Sunday.  Maybe a mess of legs?  Saturday we're going to my Mom's and she wants to eat out.  That works for me because I'm going to look at a table saw near Mom's off CL and don't have room in the van for that and my egg travelers.

Pizza last night - I have to get a good dough recipe.  Wife does not like the Publix dough but I am time constrained on a Friday night.  

Tonight - Pork and Beef Ribs with some scallops.  

Tomorrow - Standing rib roast - I am going to have to look that one up.

Just prepped a meatloaf to smoke tomorrow. I was going to make it today but the BIL invited us over for steaks. He's an egghead too and does a mighty fine steak. I love smoked meatloaf but I'll take a steak over it today.

Well Mother Nature is at it again. Rained out the cook again tonight. Sorry 45 degrees and steady rain is not worth it. Looks like takeout or or something frozen and cooked I the oven. Maybe by July it will be nice enough to egg.
