Hey, not every pour is for everyone. I’m a fan of the OFO. pretty good stuff for the price point imo. Like the 1910,1920 and statesman the best. Rye is pretty good too. There’s better but not shabby for me. 👍🏻saluki2007 said:
I’m not exactly sure why, but their offerings just don’t do it for me. The only one that I did enjoy was the Bottle in Bond. (I have not tried the birthday one). Enjoy.pgprescott said:

18-25 month bourbon barrel aged blended imperial stout. Just wish I had a cigar for the night…Brandon - Ohio

I love me some imperial stout, seriously. Also, I think I saw the top third of your bottle used for nefarious purposes on the dark web.

Not bad. It’s a fairly aggressive bourbon given it’s finished in maple syrup barrels. Drinks more like a straight up bourbon than a finished bourbon. Bought this during the height of the pandemic and had only had a couple sips out of it. Poured out 6 oz or so tonight. 👍🏼ColbyLang said:

Makers gets a bad rap from the hipsters but it’s a good pour, and really shines in cocktails. Enjoy!Hook_emHornsfan_74 said:

"really shines in cocktails"
I hate to break this to you .. but nothing really shines in cocktails more than a big dollop of mercury..... It's like a little mirror ball of goodness ..and .. as an added bonus ... when you look really closely at it .. you can see if your eye makeup is really friggen messed up or not, at least one side at a time .. and really .. what more could you ask for from a cocktail?

Makers has some very good expressions with the cask strength and the stave finishings.pgprescott said:

No knocking MM here. As you up the MM spend the wheat forward lessens which works for me although I don't drink it but do keep it in house for my neighbor.
No cocktail mixes here-too old. And when on the road the house rule kicks in (with vary rare exceptions). No brown water outside one's own home.
Have a great brown water infused weekend!

That is way more than worth a celebratory EH pour. Congrats to her for the achievement and to you and your wife for the foundation to enable it to happen.
With all swirling around society these days that is even more impressive.

Thank you for the kind words. It's been a great, fast, ride - she even managed to do this in 3 years. 3.84 GPA, she needed 3.9 for Summa...just fell a tad shy.LBGE, 28” BS, Weber Kettle, HCI 7.8 SE Texas -

The campfire is basically a pleated scotch profile. It’s blended with one and definitely that rules the flavor profile. I happen to be a scotch guy at heart so I love it. Think Ardbeg.ColbyLang said:
