It was very sobering walking in the woods outside of Foy where Easy Co spent the Battle of the Bulge, thinking about what those incredibly brave young men went through. Many of the foxholes are still there, just not as deep due to leaves and other detritus over the years. Highly recommend if you have the chance.MMBGE / Large BGE / XL BGE (Craigslist Find) / SF30x80 cabinet trailer - "Ol' Mortimer" / Outdoor kitchen in progress.

I visited the Cambridge American Cemetery some years ago. And to quote ThrasherII "Yes it is very sobering to see that many crosses ." Most of these lads were killed in the battle for the North Atlantic and/or the air campaign over Europe. A generation like no other and one that cannot be repaid.XL BGE and L BGE -

A friend very generously share some of this with me. The best nose of a bourbon I've ever had. And probably the best bourbon I've ever had. Merry Christmas gentlemen.
