I’ve heard it just fine for the attractive price point. Mixed with coke is a winner I’m sure. Enjoy.

The bourbon and wood flavors are just very pronounced when fresh. They change and evolve with time. Goose island recommends up to 5 years of age in the bottle. 

I have had bottles of bourbon county around 10 years old that were still drinking very well. The edges round off, mellows a lot, chocolate and richness come more so to the forefront with age.

@ctmike  It is the best Woodford Reserve.  I am down to my last bottle and with no signs of the border reopening, at the price it is being sold here, I am going back to the regular bottle 🤷‍♂️

I kept a pint of that in my golf bag for “betcha can’t hit the green” impossible shots. Bastard hit the green, three of us took shots. Not bad, actually good!  thank God it was on 16.  Chip over a burm, then sand, and small green slopes away to water. He sculled it, hit the top of the burm, bounced to the top of the bunker grass, stopped it a foot from the hole. Birdie.  We finished it by 18.  I’d hear about that for a year, but I think he forgot.
