Sam Adams Oktoberfest.....The distributors (at least in my area) are out. If you are a fan and want to extend you drinking into the holidays....you better get it if you see it.

@JohnInCarolina - that is a great pour.  They opened their own distillery in town around a year ago.  Glad it is still available locally as it will likely become harder to find as the word/taste spreads.  Enjoy.

Interesting.  I’ve been drinking it for about two years now.  Can’t always find it, but when I do, I grab a bottle.  Love it.

From what I understand the master distiller of Woldford Reserve opened his own.   Did it the same way but put it in Port Wine barrels for 6 months to finish.  Talk about several different smells and tastes .   It will not disappoint .

My wife made a comment when she saw I opened wine. She's doing some weird awful "Whole 30" thing and one of the prohibited solutions is alcohol. Her comment was something like "So, you're going to drink a whole bottle of wine, that's sick". My response "I can put a wine saver in it and put it in the fridge". We both know how ridiculous my response was...

Yeah, it’s not one I’ve coveted very much. I’ve had it and it’s quite good, but never help that cache with me. I’m gonna rethink this one. Thanks for the inspiration!

@DMW - power lifting right there.  I can drink beer all day long but with the brown water I need to delay the fuel load til later.  I intend to watch WS Game 5 tonight and if I started now there's no chance I would get to the 7th inning stretch.  Enjoy!

Thanks @lousubcap - This was just a mid-afternoon sip while watching football. Switched over to beer for the evening, back to the brown water when it's time to wrap things up.

Gin or vodka? I prefer either Beefeaters or Hendrix.
