This is WAY off topic, but too fun to keep to myself.

A couple of dolphins were playing by our dock this morning. They were jumping and rolling . . . so cute! :)Dolphins playing together by our dockDolphins playing together by our dockDolphins playing together by our dockDolphins playing together by our dockDolphins playing together by our dock

  • Here they herd fish against the bank and go after them. Quite a show to watch. I was fortunate enough one early morning to be on a dock when they started foreplay. An hour later they headed toward the ocean only to return a while later. They nuzzle and stroke each other and then may swim underwater fast to enough to kick up a dock shaking wake.
They are interesting creatures that make life enjoyable.

That's great! I take it that it's saltwater? If so, do you ever have speckled trout come up there?

Do you or any of your neighbors have lights set up on your dock?
