Finalized my cook for Salado. Fairly quick cook but a lot of prep. I'll either need my own egg for two days or stay with @Mickey from tues to Fri.
Green egg, dead animal and alcohol. The "Boro".. TN

Granddaughters and Daughter down from Dallas for spring break. Will move them all in one bedroom and get you a bedroom. What time will you be in?

Well, I just got about 90 pounds of meat for the fest.  Probably be lots of left overs.

Hey, Mickey - that hotel buddy of your never called.  Anyway, I'm gonna take two rooms for Friday and Sat - one with king and one with two beds for my mom and anyone that wants to stay over with her.

Just a note. The Inn has one room for both nights and two rooms for Sat night only. That's all folks.

Not if you cook it right.

Remember we have a party Fri and Sat night. Will have 4 Larges set up for both.

Exactly.  With that in mind, I was thinking that if nolaegghead cooks to his obvious potential, then I could probably share ALL of his meat with 8 other "healthy eaters" (that's what they used to call it when I was a kid).

On a more serious note - Do folks usually just bring more of the same dish they serve for the Eggfest to the evening gatherings to cook and share? Or a different recipe for sharing? Or do folks bring just enough to feed themselves (like burgers)?  Or all of the above - whatever you want to do.  I would like to contribute/participate in the Friday +/- Saturday evening festivities, but I'm not sure what to plan to bring - other than beer.

@Foghorn . I do the Fest to have a reason for the Fri and Sat night party. Beer is good. It is like the Fest in that people cook and all eat it. At times people cook the same and at other times not (something new). Simple: it is a big ass potluck with adult beverage lasting late into the night except for those of a certain age. But keep in mind we have an extra hour now.
