That one took me about 8 hours to make over the week and I haven't even attempted the sheath yet. I would be happy to make you all one but I don't want to say what it would cost.Mt Elgin Ontario - just a Large. -
I hear you and I fully understand what you said and what you mean. I too used to make things...in my case out of wood...but I too had trouble trying to figure a selling price. You have to trust me on this...the people who agree to pay your asking price know your product being offered is worth what you ask! Those people who don't - obviously don't understand and they are NOT worthy potential customers! Don't be upset after you price your future knifes and some people drop off your interested list! thank you all that voted for me!! I've been absent lately due to lots of work. But that's a positive thing, hopefully it will allow more opportunity for charity later!
I'm planning a big cook(5000+) for the ladies over at the women's shelter in July and a big Thanksgiving for our Air Force at Keesler for Thanksgiving. Even though I'm not posting, I'm still cooking. We did 1000 meals for Champions of Christ and 1700 for Salvation army last month. Hoping to do Something big in May but nothing booked yet.
For me, @SGH for all the time he has spent with me on my shirley, from my first cook actually showing up too many a phone call and hang out.
@Mickey for his easy to read, easy to learn from recipes. That include setup (direct, indirect, temp and height) and details.
And @nolaegghead and @Centexsmoker?? SP for all their posts.
