I fired up the Mini-Max and cooked up a big old steak. It was my first time cooking on the egg alone. Hubby came home to a steak which we shared along with some fresh asparagus and baked potato. I got photo's of the before, during....but forgot to take the after or plated picture as you guys say. Well here goes. Sprinkled liberally with Montreal Steak Seasoning.
Seared both sides and it turned out good.
It was a nice rare to medium rare which is how we like it.

Large BGE & Mini Max for the wok. A few old camp Dutch ovens and a wood fired oven. LSG 24” cabinet offset smoker. There are a few paella pans and a Patagonia cross in the barn. A curing chamber for bacterial transformation of meats...
"Bourbon slushies. Sure you can cook on the BGE without them, but why would you?"

Great looking steak and that's a great meal. Asparagus is also one of my favorite things to make on the egg even though it makes my pee smell funny.
