  • Just came back from a camping trip at Kern River.

    Went over to Kern River Brewing Company.  They had their winter ale, a double IPA.  It was amazing!  So it their just outstanding IPA.  Pretty much everything they have I like.

    What's the record for 'Views' and 'Responses' to a thread - this one has to be up there.  One of the most long lasting, continuous threads I've seen since joining the forum.  Tito's with a splash of tonic and Calamondin squeeze (tree has finally provided ripe fruit - using instead of lime.

    I'm a little late in posting but I was busy while I was drinking. 

    Two nights ago we had some Perrier-Jouet Champagne to toast our 20th wedding anniversary.

    Last night I had a very interesting wine: Gundlach Bundschu Mountain Cuvee from Sonoma.  It is my new favorite.  Now I just have to find more so I don't have to go to a fancy steakhouse for it..

    Sorry, no pics but it did happen.

    Had 2 bloody mary's at this Peruvian place went to for brunch. Kicked up a notch with rocoto chile. Was darned tasty!
