Hadn’t ever heard of this, my BiL picked up a bottle. Pretty frickin’ fantastic pour. One of the best I’ve ever had.

I would rather light a candle than curse your darkness.

Having been lucky enough to have a number of bourbons in this price point, this one absolutely holds its own. It is on the short list for my favorite pour of all time.billt01 said:

Received a delivery from one of our favourite wineries. The reds will go nicely with some red meat cooked on the egg.Perth, Western Australia -

I took that field trip in 8th grade as well. D.C., New York, Boston and somewhere in either New Hampshire or Vermont, can’t remember. I had a blast buying a fake Rolex in Battery ParkJohnInCarolina said:
Reminds me of the 8th grade field trip I took to Washington DC as a young lad. Typical trip for junior high kids, except we also stopped in NYC along the way.Buckwoody Egger said:the “limit 1” of the beer aisle. are we bored or what? got a 30pk and expecting it will last the entire mowing season
The street vendors in NYC were selling t-shirts that looked a lot like this:
A couple of the guys in our class bought them, and wore them for the entire rest of the field trip, much to the dismay of our teacher/chaperones. It was glorious.Las Vegas, NV -

Not now but one of the drinks the wife has been getting in Italy is the Hugo spritz. Combination of Prosecco, elderflower liqueur, club soda, and fresh mint. Not necessarily my cup of tea but it sure is refreshing."I've made a note never to piss you two off." - Stike

The last of some leaded Blanton's:

Had it sent by a friend from Japan around 7 years ago. (Don't anticipate a shot at restock.)
Definitely deserves respect.Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. Life is too short for light/lite beer! Seems I'm livin in a transitional period. CHEETO (aka Agent Orange) makes Nixon look like a saint. -
Prices are plummeting, I picked up a SFTB for 149.99 (it was sitting on the stock shelf..not behind a counter). Distillers who offer these allocations are going to need to aggressively price their stock, there are WAY too many craft distillers who will be offering better barrels with the same age statements and proofs. Tide is turning for the bourbon drinkers favor.lousubcap said:The last of some leaded Blanton's:

Couple that with the market getting softer by the day. EVERY grocery store in Louisiana has ER/EHT Small Batch and Blanton’s right now. Has for weeks
-
3 hours in line at Buffalo Trace and came home with the CYPB for $64. 107 is being offered a lot now at the distillery. $59 for that. Just need single barrel to complete the collection

Nice score. The bourbon growth run has ground to a halt. The ambitious expansion consumption experienced in the mid 2005-2021 years is over in the near term (duration to be determined but not a short window). Pricing will continue to drop as the market continues to soften.
But good for us who can hang on and wait! 🥃Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. Life is too short for light/lite beer! Seems I'm livin in a transitional period. CHEETO (aka Agent Orange) makes Nixon look like a saint. -
