Just because any BGE cook is worth a standalone post..plank salmon!
2 hours marinade in vin santo (a sweet dessert wine), EVO and casual rub mix.
300 F or so for 40 minutes, pulled at 125 and served at 135 F.
Simple and effective.

Let's see if a GIF works fine

Have a great weekend everyone!

Very nice.  One issue though, I see four plates and three slices of salmon?  I hope you got one of them.

    Very fine eye!
My son hates fish. I cooked a hamburger for him. Unusually, on the bge, which I don't normally use to cook burgers

Absolutely correct regarding stand alone cooks.  You nailed that cook.  Filming and cutting at the same time. Bonus points.

It’s possible there was another, some time ago:

My beautiful wife and I have used an alder plank of two over the years with salmon. You can marinate it in anything, and put it on the grill, and with a watchful eye, you can serve up a pretty nice meal, as you have done.

Your presentation looked outstanding! Thank you for sharing.

Thanks everyone for the kind comments, I'm glad that even such a simple cook garnered this much attention. It was really a last-minute cook squeezed into a very busy day.
@YukonRon I also try to recycle those planks. I just soak in water and rub with olive oil, then handwash and dry in the sun after the cook.

If nothing else a plank has two sides. I am going to have to go surf fishing sometime.
