I'm not a big fan on salad due to excess sweetness, various condiment uses are ok though. I seem to recall @BigGreenDave swore by it for squirrel. Overview in this article if you're not familiar with it.

when i could eat salad it was the basic italian, or french, or blue cheese dressing. since the lettuce allergy really progressed i now order the blue cheese on the side and just eat that. peter lugers steak sauce is great on just tomatoes as a side saladneon orange sounds more like a dessert

My Beautiful Wife and I make our own CaesySaldas and dressing usually add a couple other items, maybe delete one or two, whatever. We also use salad as a bleu cheese delivery mechanism.
