Tortilla kebabs

Hi all, tortilla kebabs were on the menu last night. First time trying them and they are a lot easier to make than I had originally thought.
Into a bowl goes 600 grams of beef mince, with 1/3 red onion, handful of chopped flat leaf parsley, and a generous sprinkling of garlic steak seasoning (onion powder, garlic powder, paprika etc.) mix it all together.

Then stack up a pile of tortillas and cut them into a square. Once done start layering the beef mince onto the tortillas and repeat until all the mince is used up. I ended up using 5 tortillas.

Cut the stack of tortillas into quarters length ways and then stack against each other on their sides.

Place skewers on top of the stack to see how many kebabs you can make and then one at a time insert the skewers. Then cut between the skewers and you have your kebabs ready to go on the bbq.

4 minutes on each side. I used a light chilli oil baste on two of them and kept the other two 'au naturel'.

Served with a glass of rose and some home made chips

Are they worth the hype? yes, they are very nice and I will definitely be making them again. Oh, and they are extremely filling! I only ate one, but have left over for lunch today

Great creativity, documentation and cook. As I have likely mentioned before, this may be your first BGE rodeo but not your first around a barbie. That looks great, didn't realize they were made from ground beef.
And the assembly reminds me of some woodworking videos on how to make a cutting board."There is a crack, a crack in everything. That's how the light gets in." - Leonard Cohen
