  • I have the N: and the O.  The N: is from the first bottle I ever had and it was a gift so unfortunately it’s on lock down until eventually giving up the pursuit of the other 6. Any duplicates will hit the trading scene but like the spinners cap witnessed will always shoot for a needed one. ebay has individual letters for sale ($15-$23) and the Blantons online store will sell a whole set of 8 for under $90.  hold out for the thrill of the hunt!

I assume it is likely sold out. Someone on here (who will not be named) made a trip to Bardstown's retail store and picked this up for me. Limit was one bottle per person and 60 days before you could buy another. Price was $100 for a 375 mL bottle.

yep you are right on that. didn’t see it was a 375 and msrp of $100 even if accessible. i was shared some very old calvados with a great personal backstory and hoped to have a unique share back but there are other ways. thanks

I am enjoying the Bardstown Calvados finished that a fine upstanding member of this den of thieves was kind enough to pick up for me, so I just cracked the seal on this to see what I think.

Clerk recommended this to me, hopefully he's trying to get return customers, so I'll give it a go

    not bad
    not great
    but it is good

IMO, it needs to be proofed a bit higher and it would be outstanding.

FWIW, the I enjoy the HH BiB better and its about a Jackson cheaper in Ga

Not sure it would occur to me to use the Yuengling for a black and tan, but that’s interesting.  You might raise the ire of our resident Brit, @CPFC1905 - surely this approaches sacrelige.

Fine with me, I am not from that side of the water and merely regard the suff as a drink like any other.   The words 'black and tan' would equally likely provoke a response there though.
