Hey John, could you please just post the link to the original post?  None of us can click on the embedded link (in blue) nor the video, from a screenshot.
    Thanks.

Oh, and a newer body cam video of this incident just surfaced; rump’s new Brownshirts have been totally exposed.

Poster in London this week near the US embassy. If you’re not familiar with the slang term, you can probably guess what it is

  • @Canugghead

    Nope. Not that one.

Not the original video, but a written interview. I wonder if this is a sanitized version of the one @JohnInCarolina linked.

    Some highlights:
The latest policy for ICE and DHS agents, which was last updated in 2023, gives only two acceptable reasons for an officer to fire a weapon into a moving vehicle — when the driver or someone inside the vehicle has a deadly weapon, or when the vehicle itself is a threat and no other reasonable defensive option exists, including moving out of the way.
    - The officers are not heard identifying themselves.
    - Getting in front of a vehicle is almost inducing a shooting if the person flees.
    - Fleeing is not a justification for use of deadly force, the threshold for which is imminent danger.
    - Good appeared to be trying to flee.
    - Law enforcement’s role is to de-escalate.

This is a fascinating exchange with lots of detail in particular about the US involvement with Venezuela and Ukraine:

    https://paulkrugman.substack.com/p/phillips-obrien-on-venezuela-and

Some of it is a little outdated on VZ since it was from Tuesday and things are moving so quickly, but the rest is really interesting.  For those of you following the news, I think it’s worth your time.

This is the one I was talking about; it's scary how many versions are out there, edited to fit that org's particular slant:

The reason they use the same lies over and over, is simple: enough people have a tendency to believe them.

People have been wondering about the identity of the ice agent. Dunno, seems pretty obvious to me.

I agree with you here.  3 shots to the head, she probably was dead before the car hit the pole.

Pretty impressive to triple tap while holding a phone to record and fearing for his life, and her actively turning away from the agents - even if he was safely beside the car and out of harms way at the time of the trigger pulls.  It’s all how he “felt” I guess.  Maybe he will get a Snowflake award to go along with his Purple Heart, Medal of Honor, and something for bravery.  I mean takes a cool customer to shoot an unarmed women in the face 3 times while standing besides her.

I would rather light a candle than curse your darkness.

For the sake of argument, let’s assume he did fear for his life at one moment.

After the threat is gone and he and all other government officials are out of harms way, is lethal force still warranted?  If lethal force is still warranted, how long after the incident does lethal force stop being warranted?  30 sec, 30 minutes, 30 days, indefinite?

I would rather light a candle than curse your darkness.

how can you argue what ones thoughts are during a split second in their life during an event like this. im sure he feels differently today after rewinding the event over and over in his head.

He says he felt threatened when he was in front of the car.

He was standing beside the car while it was driving away from him.  If he cannot make accurate assessments of risk then he shouldn’t have a license to kill.

My guess, call me crazy if you like, was that he was pissed off and wanted to teach this lady a lesson.  He did not have control of his emotions and let his ego and anger rule the moment.

same as road rage or a shooting over a parking space.  Only this guy gets the Kings support.
