I attended another institution. They won this weekend but they were playing St. Mary’s Home for Unwed Mothers. Those mothers were surprisingly tough.

As a lifelong Bama fan I will say they were outplayed on offense, outplayed on defense, and out coached. Florida State was definitely underestimated by a lot of folks. However, there is still a lot of football left to play. Onward and upward, Roll Tide!!

My humble offer late on a Saturday night— may I be so bold — wondering aloud— are there any studies about how happy (or not) the rest of America is when Bama football stinks? There are plentiful long stretches of good and bad eras for Bama.

Or we could start a thread about Ole Miss's coach being lured off to LSU with showers of gold. The same thing happened to Mississippi State University when Florida lured Dan Mullins away right after he got MSU into the top ten. "They'll have to carry me away in a pine Box!" my #$%^. Of course LSU won't put up with more than one not winning season after Kiften arrives.
