An acquaintance of mine was worried about this happening. I thought he was paranoid to have his immigration attorney on call the day of his ceremony. I guess he wasn’t. He also had a few friends ready to call the lawyer if ICE wouldn’t let him and had people prepared to take care of his personal effects in case something happened. Fortunate, he got hos citizenship.
