Well that outcome sucked.  First inning missed opportunities for the Jays set the table for the game.
Nothing better than winner take all tomorrow night.

Well, if the guy on 2nd doesn’t get caught with his pants down halfway to third on a poorly hit ball…….

Happened to notice an offset in a neighbors garage while trick or treating with the kids last night. He was more than happy to show it off. Workhorse 1975 on an off-road cart - definitely not a common sight in MN. Needless to say I think I made a new friend.

Not a bad Halloween. The kids were uniformly polite and friendly and I only had 6 candies left. 4 of them, I'll eat. The rest got taken.

Caught with his pants down - Agree.

Poorly hit ball - The bat broke. Call it excuses or whatever, per AI:
Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Kiké Hernández mentioned that he heard the sound of a bat breaking on a line drive hit by Andrés Giménez (not Clement) for a game-ending double play. Hernández noted that hearing the sound of the bat breaking helped him locate the ball which he had lost in the stadium lights.

Crazy game... dead ball, runners at 2nd and 3rd zero out, game over three pitches later.

    Go Jays go!

Read that and assumed it was LA who did their standard WS implosion - dang.  Hope the BJs can pull the win!

Here in Ohio they call it “beggars night” and it can be scheduled anytime around Halloween. I think it is weird, the huge fireworks festival for the 4th of July aka red white and boom may be held on the 3rd.  Is this a midwestern thing or just Ohio?

I was stationed in Dayton OH for 5 years, never heard of it either, but that was a LOT of brain cells ago.

Still in recovery, wish we could have done it for Donnie. Darn, both games 6 and 7 ended on broken bat double play with one out; inches matter have never been so true; so-called deadball didn't help either; excuses, excuses. Hope we don't have to wait another 32 years ;(

Watching The Red Clay Strays concert at The Ryman. Yes, I know it’s early for Christmas, but after 18 years of marriage, the one thing I’ve learned that if it makes the lady happy, nothing else matters.

If you ever get a chance to see them in concert it's worth the price of admission.

It’s on the bucket list, my goal is to get paid to watch them, but they are one of the few that I work off pay to see.
