My buddy is a “new age” dentist. He sends all crowns and root canals out to another dentist. The second guy being a “specialist”. Cleanings, X-rays, cavities and tooth extraction are the extent of his problems. And he only works 4 days a week lol. I told my 10 year old he’s going to dental school

Does that black blob look normal to anyone? Unit will not turn on. Power feeds are the black and white wires. My eyesight is not as good as it used to be. Taking pics and zooming in. Barrel fuse seems hardwired.. If it's not, I cannot easily remove it.  I have to go find my multimeter.

Started the home repairs getting ready for a sale.

We will wait to see how things turn out with our country before the destination is finalized.

We will be leaving Louisville. Guaranteed.

I get the current sentiment as it is pervasive.  I will offer that in the longer term all this can be moderated with the election cycles (hope, hope).  However, to your concerns the ability to have constituent representative elections is becoming much more of a challenge.
Time to forget all this crap and crank out one of your peach preserve butts or killer briskets with sriracha/bleu cheese coleslaw, potato and onion au gratin sides.
    Just a thought...

@GrateEggspectations I just put toothpicks and wood glue in the lazy Susan door hinges. The previous fix with wood filler lasted about a month.

Nice. The fix has lasted well anywhere I’ve previously applied it. Great trick, IMO.

Pool winter cover anchors.  Over the years the insert gets stripped out and you can't back them out of their hole anymore.

    Drill. Tap. Pull.

I have never fixed these before so in the past 5 years, 25 total have failed. There are 62 total.

He!! of a great recovery project and the end result was as expected.  Always delivering a win.
Consider yourself lucky in never having needed a portable generator.  My record for running one is 201 hours after the back side of hurricane Ike hit in September 2008.  Been a few times inside that but fortunately not chasing the record.
