The health department has been after me to abandon this well that we no longer use. It turned out to be a much larger project than the well drilling company anticipated. They have to first pull this tank out and then pull the well if possible. My understanding is that the well is 280 ft deep.

Hard to go that far when managing partner of the orthopedic firm is a family friend. I knew the risk/reward of a non surgical approach when that decision was made with the doctor and myself. I also coulda shoulda woulda gotten another opinionlousubcap said:

You may have a some legal /medical challenges here to work for your deserved benefit.
Better to be lucky than here-Broke the fibula at the knee and ankle ( very rare event according to the ortho) in late November-no surgery, no cast, a driving boot (right leg). Declared victory in mid January.
A do-over sucks any time but especially given the duration.
Good luck with this one. -

That sucks a crusty old monkeys a$$ through a silly straw. Last year I snapped my left femur, pretty clean break but it was between my knee replacement and my hip replacement, so I waited a day for them to find a qualified dr who could fix in between my fake joints. This Feb I fell on the ice outside and snapped my right femur, a really bad radial break. I sat in the hospital for three days while they tried to find a surgeon who could fix that massive damage, again between a fake knee (my third) and my fake hip. Finally ended up in Maine with some ortho specialist that came up from Boston to do the surgery. That break was brutal and I'm still recovering from it. Once its done, they're going to operate on that knee again, its filled with scar tissue caused by the femur break and its resultant surgery. It's literally twice as big as it should be and I can barely bend it. I'm so sick of operations, up to about 19 major ones now, over the course of about 14 years. It gets tiring. The bone disease is the worst .... The arthritis a close second. I hope you heal quickly ....lousubcap said:

i typed that wrong....270 degree spin. pretty much the same thing as the video but by outboard lifts higher and the reverse gear is only revving a few seconds before the boat starts going backwards and it keeps sliding to the port.fukahwee maineyou can lead a fish to water but you can not make him drink it

Today I had my first public encounter with a working robot, in my supermarket.
I was walking down an aisle and kept hearing some odd electronic noises from the next aisle, and when I rounded the corner I saw her, “Tallie”. She had about a 1’ x 1’ x 8” base, was advancing on 4 wheels, with about a 5’ pole sticking straight up. There was a sign on her that said, “Hi, I’m Tallie, I’m scanning the shelves for inventory”. Cute. There were side IR cameras on both sides of the pole, that would flash on and off every couple of feet. Below the sign was a 4” x 6” screen that had a couple of “eyes”, that looked down and scanned back and forth; I don’t think it was scanning for floor obstacles, but rather something added to make it more anthropomorphic (she didn’t look “up” at me, even when I flashed her).
Wish I could’ve gotten a photograph of it, but I don’t carry my phone unless I have a meeting or am driving out-of-town.
This may be a very common thing everywhere else, like TV screens on gas pumps a few years ago; UT seems to be quite a bit behind the rest of the country."Hallelujah, Noel, be it Heaven or Hell,

Haven’t seen anything like that here. Wonder what, if anything, Tallie is collecting about customers. If nothing quite yet, I’m sure it’s only a matter of time.Botch said:Today I had my first public encounter with a working robot, in my supermarket.

As an aside, I love that you don’t carry your phone unless you don’t anticipate a specific need. The new societal expectation of being reached anywhere at any time is incredibly problematic, IMO. Off soapbox. -
Five games deep and too soon for reliable predictions, but thats never stopped me before. So, Wolves are pointless, Villa have scored one goal, Liverpool are off to a perfect start and Palace are the only other team unbeaten.
Saturday
Brentford vs Manchester United - scraping past ten man Chelsea in monsoon conditions could be described as unconvincing, but this will be a better test. The Bees are consistent top half fodder, year in year out albeit having slow start this time around. 1-1
Crystal Palace vs Liverpool - a history of huge defeats and marquee victories for the mighty Eagles against the Reds. Loathed as I am to say it, this one feels close that any of the past encounters. Naturally I will predict a might shellacking for us, but other feels this is a draw of few to no goals. So 0-17 or 0-0
Leeds United vs Bournemouth - decent game in store here, Leeds found form last week and the Cherries looking god so far. Probably an away win but marginal, 1-2
Manchester City vs Burnley, The Clarets look the weakest of the promoted teams and this is Citeh - even if it Citeh 2025 which is a bit more buggy than previous updates. Close for 30 minutes an then quality comes through, 3-0
Chelsea vs Brighton, The Chelsea stumbled in the rain, maybe that’s slipped, but were not worse than Man Utd sir unlucky to lose. The filthy Seagulls are not quite at the races yet, maybe the hidden hand of the Illuminati is preoccupied. There’s ill-feeling between the fans but the players don’t care, narrow home win 1-0
Nottingham Forest vs Sunderland, these two teams are transposed in the table (shout out to the alliteration fans). Great start from the Maccems, not so much for Forest who six months ago were pretending to not be convinced they would romp to the title and then European glory. With Big Ange at the helm it will be a goal frenzy, so 3-2 at least
Spurs vs Wolves, can the Old Gold go six without a point, yep - and they will 2-0
Sunday
Villa vs Fulham, confidence boosting win last night in Europe for Villa but the Cottagers are decent trim. Awkward game for the hosts and they would take 1-1 right now if offered. 1-1
Newcastle United vs Arsenal, ought to be a heavy weight bruiser of a match but the Toon just haven’t clicked and the Gunners continue to play nice but not be ruthless. i fear this will peter out to a flat draw, but hopefully with goals. 1-1
Monday
Everton vs West Ham United, The Hammers could easily lose this and that will be the ned for Potters as their manager. Terrible start to the season and if they leave it too long they’ll be fighting to get back even in to mid-table. The Toffees have grounds for optimism generally, and 2-0 here sees them continue that.
What do you make of them apples? Bruised like the windfalls in my garden, only good for compost - probably.
Other girls may try to take me away
But you know, it's by your side I will stay -
I wonder if it was a specific inventory bot @Botch, you know how once a year a team comes out to a retail store and inventory audits everything.South of Columbus, Ohio.
