I ended up burning almost all of it for firewood and gave a bunch away. I have planted other trees but nothing in my lifetime will replace 2-4’ diameter 100 year old trees.

Planning to live life to the fullest and drink all the good liquor now that we are on the brink of annihilation.

If we maybe had reasonable heads of state we would have a chance. Turns out votes matter - too little, too late.

Been a good run. But this probably explains the Fermi Paradox. Civilizations are but a blink in the cosmic timeline.

Yeah, I am wondering how this is going to play out. Is it going to be like a school yard pick'em, where each country has to pick a side? If so, I am going to go find a beach somewhere and ride it out.
