Texas Twinkies and Dino Bones-aka brisket on a stick

In keeping with posting a standalone cook (not nearly the caliber of most that reside in the What are you Chefing thread) here you go:
The Twinkies-(lunch treat)

Paired with the dino bones-

Dinos getting happy- (around 7 lbs from SRF)

And the $$ shot- for sure brisket on a stick! (Cooked in around 4.5 hrs at ~280*F on the dome-quick cook based on my experience)

Yes it was all good.

Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. Life is too short for light/lite beer! Seems I'm livin in a transitional period. CHEETO (aka Agent Orange) makes Nixon look like a saint.

Beautiful cook! Is that a large egg?
-
@BeanHead - Yep-LBGE. A bit harder to differentiate with the "new" band style that looks just like the one that is used with the XL and larger.
Those dinos woulda been really over the top had that been the XL!! Although the heaviest 3 bone plate rib hunk I ever received rolled in at 9.3 lbs. But that was clearly a one off.Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. Life is too short for light/lite beer! Seems I'm livin in a transitional period. I honestly thought “I need to look for larger peppers for my poppers” 😂
-
Here in flyover country you can find some healthy sized jalas in the local Mexican grocery stores and quite frequently in the big box outfits. With Cinco De Mayo on the horizon it could present a challenge however.

We get giants in Texas (usually for under a dollar a pound), but not knowing the size of your egg in relation to the poppers and ribs had me seriously questioning my spatial awareness skills.

Nice cooks Cap! Way to lead by example posting in standalone thread, must confess I hardly cook these days

BTW, Dino's beat their pork cousin anytime right?
