A tornado hit the Westin years ago. The curved glass was custom so it all had to be replaced.

Fabbing up some garden boxes. Galv sheet, aluminum braces and stainless bolts. No more wood. Ya thats my finger, oops.

I'm drawn to vessels that appear capable of ocean crossings. Kadey Krogens, Flemming, the aforementioned Nordhavns, the steel trawler I posted, etc.
Are you wanting to do the loop in a year or take longer? I envision rounding Florida and going to the Bahamas and other islands and not returning!

A 59 would be sweet. The 35 CP would be more practical. I had a coworker who retired, bought a 40 and took a transatlantic excursion. He sold it while in Europe for a mint given the exchange rates at the time. Came home after piddling around North Africa for a month and bought a 43 with the proceeds.kl8ton said:
