Had I not seen the pooch's foot at the bottom of the photo, I'd be VERY disturbed.

The pooch doesn’t seem thrilled either.

😂 Millie Nelson was spayed a few days ago and she tore the other collar off. Mrs. Dyal found this inflatable collar on Amazon that is both efficient and hilarious.

Inflatable collar...interesting! Having had 1 poodle and 4 Westies who all were fixed those boys did their "banging" on several of our furniture legs with their lampshade style collars.Dyal_SC said:😂 Millie Nelson was spayed a few days ago and she tore the other collar off. Mickey got tired of entertaining the grand kiddos. Needed foot surgery to reinsert the push button and silicone switch pad dislodged by constant rough handling.

I can't any credit here. A little back story. My Dad retired his belt grinder after about 45 years of use. One of the wheels developed a crack if I'm not mistaken. While my Dad could have machined some new wheels he decided to pick up a North Ridge Tool belt grinder for a retirement gift to himself. (Super jealous) He asked if I wanted his old belt grinder. I told him I'd take it.
So my Dad and brother-in-law 3-D printed some new wheels and pressed in all new bearings.
It also comes with a tool rest that I've yet to add to it. I'm hoping it gets another 45 years of use out of it!

I’m certainly not the carpenter that some folks are. In reality I’m not even a pimple on a real carpenters azz. But I’m not scared to tackle anything. With that said I have about bit off more than I can chew here.Pics in whatever order the Picture Gods decide to deal them.

On a final note, if I had Rons or Ozzie’s money I would just buy a new one. Maybe two just because.Location- Just "this side" of Biloxi, Ms.

SGH - Wheel house and engine room next right? Looks like a fun project for your semi-retirement! Did enough deck scraping and painting in the USN and I wasn't a deck ape. My duty station was the Port and Starboard Torpedo tubes and I was responsible from the tubes to the deck, and the bulkhead with the air compressor lines. Enjoy the process and the outcome. Looking forward to the completed project.Ubi panis, ibi patria.

work boat or party boat? or a little of both?
looks like a worthy challenge.
there are lots of worse things to throw money at.

What a project! Sure is a pretty thing. Please keep us up to date on it.Somewhere on the Colorado Front Range

So much for the Caribbean island buy but what a great project to throw yourself into. Messing about with boats doesn't get any better than that as long as you are enjoying the whole deal and don't mind the sucking sound of Ron's $$ going south
. Don't scrimp on the shaving mirrors. You will be at the helm of an extremely rewarding craft at the conclusion.
Don't know much about Gulf boats but a shrimper??
Awesome post and another endorsement for a separate thread.
Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. Life is too short for light/lite beer! Seems I'm livin in a transitional period. CHEETO (aka Agent Orange) makes Nixon look like a saint. -

Always fun to troubleshoot the home HVAC unit at 11pm. Looks like a starting capacitor went bad. Uncle Bezos will have two here on Thursday. Luckily it’s not July…
