Thanks Larry! Hi @Sea2Ski

In addition to the normal tuna and other usual species when fishing inshore and offshore, we have been dialing in our tilefish game. Got some really productive numbers the last few years.Tilefish have since become my favorite food fish above all others.I do have one tuna story.We were fishing one day and got covered up with bigeye tuna. Went 5 for 8 which if you are not familiar with bigeyes, is an impressive feat. We were surprised ourselves we landed that many. Imagine 8 rods dumping line and the drags screaming. Then trying to keep the lines from rubbing and cutting each other off. It was an epic trip.But yes - still doing a lot of fishing.

As for livestock - just added a longhorn calf to the family one week ago. Here he is. Now we have to decide to castrate him or not.. sell him or not… Pretty cool that he is 98%+ white. Hopefully he does not get any red patches in like his mom has. White longhorns look great when mature. We should have 2 more born in the next week or so too!
@Stormbringer
was wishing I had your mad photography skills over the summer. Went on a 2+ week trip to Gates of the Arctic national park in AK. The scenery was insane. No space or allowance of extra weight or gear, so made do with the iPhone, but you were on my mind when I was up there.Two pictures to give a sense of how remote we were. (I could do a 5 page post just on this trip alone.) Those tiny specks in the first picture were our tents on the day we flew in. That was the most crazy and insane trip or thing I have ever done. Still can’t believe we did what we did. 3 years planning, one year unexpected delay, then to have the experience… it still gives me goosebumps.
So there are a few tiny updates showing a few things that I have been up to.--------------------------------------------------

@Stormbringer it was not a package tour. A buddy of mine asked me if I wanted to go on an adventure and I said yes count me in and then I asked what it was we were going to do.. It was just the two of is. If I had to guess we spent about 500-600 hours planning and that did not include two local 5 Day practice trips and taking a wilderness survival and whitewater class.
@alaskanassasin we were flown in on a float plane. No hunting, but we did fish along the way and have shore side meals.You guys really want to hear about it in more detail? To get the full effect, it is going to take some time. I do not want to bore you….--------------------------------------------------

Okay. I will start working on it.Serious question do I post it in the off topic forum or do I post it in the egghead forum?Not to stir up old arguments but I remember lots of debates about OT discussions. not sure how much things have/have not changed.--------------------------------------------------
