We lost 20-25% of our regular posters with the password reset. 

Did they not know to take their old usernames, spell them backwards, and start over? Surely I can't be smarter than 100% of the 20-25% of those that we lost from the password reset?

Beyond Friday-this place is so quiet I do believe you could hear a mouse fart.  So how do we get it off life support?

I am too old to come up with a marketing hook for the predominant age group of BGE owners but will give any reasonable suggestion(s) a go. 

We have lost several great contributors in the past several months. 

Edit- likely a topic for it's own thread but a champion needs to come forward.

Well it seems we lost some folks but to me it’s now the ones left fear of the ban hammer I guess. We could put up a thread like this on Friday night and the shenanigans would go on for hours with some content not on the family friendly wholesome side we all knew it would get buffaloed anyway and not be some lasting stain on the site. I mean the term went the way of the buffalo was used to refer to the deleting of those threads and the Buffalo name adopted by moderator…but then the Buffalo had enough and posted the forum smack down thread and crushed the morale and it’s never been the same since IMO

We blew off some steam and laughed a lot back then, it was fun but now it’s a different place.
