6/9 really ought to be a national holiday.

I’ll be making some of that pineapple-jalapeño salsa later on today.  We are headed to the NC beach tomorrow for a week of vacation.

    I opened the very early AM with Cheetos and a bourbon.  Today does mark the 50th anniversary of Big Red's run thru the Triple Crown as noted below in a few threads but I have not given much thought to a heads or tails cook  B).  I need to work on that. 
    Enjoy the beach.
    Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood.  Life is too short for light/lite beer!  Seems I'm livin in a transitional period. CHEETO (aka Agent Orange) makes Nixon look like a saint.

    Man I wish I could tell you where I got that. I’ve had it forever.   It’s just a simple half rack that sits on top of a half circle wire frame.  I want to say it is from BGE itself but I really don’t remember.

    Yes, it’s a BGE product. I have the same one. Not shown in JIC’s photo is a drip pan that sits on that frame just underneath the top grate holding his jalapeños. I like the pan because it gives you a small area of indirect heat. Super convenient if searing a protein and then wanting indirect heat.
