F1-B Sheepadoodle. 3/4 Poodle, 1/4 Old English Sheepdog. They had some half border collies 1/2 poodles available but they would be too smart and active for me. As it is I expect my 9 year old Boxer and me to be run ragged for several months.

Suggested Tripod, Hopper, Nub, and , even though it’s male, ILene. She named him Chaplain after her cat that died the same week she found the pupper.

Both of mine still do that. Almost 6 months and almost 5 months old

My Corgis were both from the same litter, and I had them neutered at six months. Cassius had already started hiking, Brutus was just starting to but he'd walk up to a tree, sniff it, stand next to it, and then lift his outside leg. Oof-dah.
He eventually figured it out, don't know if his brother showed him how. If I ever get a couple more litter-mates I'll save the surgery until 7 months.

If you can, I recommend 2-3 years. Especially if a larger breed. Helps their muscles and bones to fully develop.

Don’t know where you are but there was a terrible story out of Florida a couple months ago. Old lady was walking her dog near a lake or pond and a gator came out of it and came after her dog. She tried to fight it off and it ended up turning on her instead, dragged her back into the water and killed her.

Her dog did survive though, so at least there’s that.

Yeah that’s as close as we got. We were outside Hilton Head where this was taken at an RV resort.
