The website is a bit mixed up on who the sire is. Either Chet at 40 pounds or Happy at 25. I will press for info later.

Don’t know where you are but there was a terrible story out of Florida a couple months ago. Old lady was walking her dog near a lake or pond and a gator came out of it and came after her dog.  She tried to fight it off and it ended up turning on her instead, dragged her back into the water and killed her.

Her dog did survive though, so at least there’s that.

As an update , Captain was chosen but will get a name change to Nemo(from 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, a favorite movie from my childhood). His parents are also 55 for the dame and 40 for the sire so I expect somewhere between 45 and 50 pounds full grown, males being larger than females.

One of mine squats to pee, the other one hikes.  My female jack actually taught the one to hike.

I have a 9 year old Boxer who loves to mark mail boxes and shrubs. I briefly considered naming him Bougie, the new dog that is . I pick him up April 24.

Call him captain Nemo...my britt is gordies tripp because of french rules for naming. My britt is 20inches tall, his leg goes up so high he can hit the mail box

Wife picked this little guy up a couple months ago, literally, was hit by a car and she took him to emergency vet. Had to amputate his back leg, but he’s getting along good with Zeus.

No, Wife will not let me name it, after hearing a few of my suggestions she was not amused.
