Your disdain of water could make you 60% lighter. Maybe I should try that to shed some lbs.Ozzie_Isaac said:I love the desert. Heat doesn't bother me, humidity and cold do. I also don't like water.LBGE, 28” BS, Weber Kettle, HCI 7.8 SE Texas -
Yep, not being critical at all. I lived in Austin for 17 years and while it’s not Houston humid, it was enough for me. It was a good 12 years before it really started to change how I felt, but that could be age. Humidity seems to be my kryptonite in both hot and cold temps. Humid cold can eat you up.TechsasJim said:
Funny you say that, not knowing your age, but I know several septuagenarians from the Midwest that say the inverse.Legume said:@TechsasJim Texas summers were shortening my life.To each their own is not just a saying, it’s real. Yes it can. I walked the streets in Oslo Norway one winter day in a light pullover. No humidity at all and I think that’s the combo that gets me: Cold + humidity.Legume said:

Just a late year thaw, here. About a 90° "feels-like" turn-around in a week. It is 62° outside today. So, I am firing up the grill and grilling some fresh brats!

Drove to MN yesterday. Will spend about a week here visiting family and friends.
Great to visit the snow a week at a time. Will take it a little slower on the way home and take 2 days driving home.Thank you,DarianGalveston Texas -
@Photo Egg - that is quite a single day road trip right there. Enjoy the visit.Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. Life is too short for light/lite beer! Seems I'm livin in a transitional period. CHEETO (aka Agent Orange) makes Nixon look like a saint.
