    My other grievance would be OT threads that are posted to the main board (such as this one), even when "OT" is added to the title.  We have an OT section of the forum and that is where all OT content should be posted, or eventually relocated by one of the many mods here who read all of the threads every day and always act expeditiously.

    I'm pissed that most of the cooking posts get lumped into some "master" thread. There's no doubt that John started that sh!t.

    Not a deflection at all, that is a legit grievance.  I think the forum would function a lot better were all of the OT stuff moved or found in the OT area, so that the main board would consist only of threads by new people or unique/interesting threads, with the occasional lump thread thrown in for good measure.

    Imagine if all of the "what are you <insert activity> right now?" threads were moved to the OT area.  My opinion is that this would improve the way the forum works pretty significantly.

    This isn't siding with the Buffalo, because the Buffalo does not (currently) actively move OT threads to the OT area.  He lets them stay on the main board, or he sinks them or deletes them.  I am asking for something different from what the Buffalo currently does.

    I'm not talking about individual posts.  I'm talking about entire threads.

    Regardless, I put that "turd" into an OT thread, which in my opinion does not belong on the main board.

    The viewership of the pure OT section of the forum is quite lean compared with the main board.  Thus if you want to provide some non BGE but useful information the accepted approach is to label it OT and place on the main board.  
    I'm sure the lack of viewers on the true OT section is a John grievance but I could be missing the mark all the way around.
    Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood.  Life is too short for light/lite beer!  Seems I'm livin in a transitional period. CHEETO (aka Agent Orange) makes Nixon look like a saint.
