But can it make a three cheese blend?WeberWho said:If you own a Kitchenaid do yourself a favor and pick up a cheese shredder attachment. I'm kicking myself after all these years using a box cheese grater. You can shred a block of cheese in around 10 seconds. This will make grating 6 blocks of cheese a breeze for mac and cheese. A Christmas gift that I'll end up using.

Is chef mike different than chef michael? Mike can cook for my Super Bowl party, but if I’m entertaining my boss and his wife, I should ask for chef Michael?THANK YOU FOR YOUR ATTENTION TO THIS MATTER

@Ozzie_Isaac you haven’t weighed in on how his food is, what has been your experience ?THANK YOU FOR YOUR ATTENTION TO THIS MATTER

I haven't tried him yet. I have been very very very tempted to hire him for dinner party. I might just have to pull the trigger this year.Legume said:@Ozzie_Isaac you haven’t weighed in on how his food is, what has been your experience ?I would rather light a candle than curse your darkness.

I like how he does double duty as a chef and entertainer. I assume he takes requests for demos on making a three cheese blend or cutting a pizza into ten (give or take) pieces.Ozzie_Isaac said:

I ordered a reverse osmosis system, should come in today with an extra bladder tank. Plan is to put system in shop and have a tank at both points of use. I want to be able to do a deionized water rinse as a last step washing cars (or things that will be painted). That water is also necessary for batteries, cooling systems, solutions for mad chemistry experiments, etc.

Yes, and held in the highest esteem are the "cheese mixologists". Rumors have it one of the mixologists in the early 18th century actually mixed 5 different cheeses. Grated. F*ckin' amazingballs.

That would make sense, as I think that's also where people first learned how to cut a pizza with a pair of scissors:nolaegghead said:I was thinking Tuscany...great Italian food. People there are Tuscans.

I like how he emphasizes starting with a clean pair, obviously."I've made a note never to piss you two off." - Stike

I call bs. Scissors add the proper "terroir" which is essential to Tuscan pizza, especially with complex blends of two or three cheeses.

Perhaps he did mean for an Italian (Tuscan/Tuscany) not Arizonan reference. Still misspelled it either way tho yes?“Reality is that which, when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away.” ― Philip K. Diçk -
The High Lords of Mixed Cheeses not only mix 5 different cheeses, but they use a combination of fine and coarse shredded cheese.nolaegghead said:Legume said:Tuscany, the land of many cheese blends.

But make sure that they aren’t irregulars. The warranty only applies to standard sale not factory seconds.

Good timing. I bought a bunch of Thorlos in 1992, I still have two pair left but when I bought some replacements about five years ago, they all wore out before these last two, original pairs; Thorlo really cheapened their materials.
Will give the Darn Toughs a try (and I think I still have a lifetime REI membership...)
