I can relate. I've put close to a thousand miles in a day trip for a grill/smoker a few different times. The grill/smoker is just an excuse to do something stupid. Jumping in the truck and hitting the open road with a destination is something I enjoy doing every once in awhile.

This resonates with me as well. I like the thrill of a deal (think Morty - Seinfeld’s father) and will put the miles down to get it. Have put in 4+ hours in on a round trip more times than I can remember. The only departure from the example cited by @littlerascal56 is that my gas and time expenditures would have to be significantly offset by the savings on the item to make the trek worth it.WeberWho said:littlerascal56 said:Just sold my 26” Weber kettle w/cover on Denver Craigslist. Agree, and I did drive 100 miles to the Yoder Smoker factory to get my YS640. It was a fun trip, and the plant manager gave me the full tour of the shop and paint facility. Easily worth the time and fuel, and learned a lot watching the welders and steel fab guys.WeberWho said:littlerascal56 said:Just sold my 26” Weber kettle w/cover on Denver Craigslist. A guy over on the Brethren just dropped this down to $2,250. Over 5K to build.

I've been seeing this one lately on my daily "Big Green Egg" FB MP search. It makes me sad. Somebody save this egg. It even comes with a Guru.

Must be someone who doesn’t observe the annual “tighten bands” posts on this forum.RyanStl said:I've been seeing this one lately on my daily "Big Green Egg" FB MP search. It makes me sad. Somebody save this egg. It even comes with a Guru.

Cool there is a BBQ Guru spiral rib rack included.Thank you,DarianGalveston Texas -
I bet you could get that fitted to a trailer and still be under the 4K mark. Those wheels do seem kind of pointless. The smoker should be on some type of skid. I'm not sure you could even get that smoker rolled up on a trailer with those wheels and the angle it would take.nolaegghead said:It doesn't exactly look portable."The pig is an amazing animal. Yeah, they look flimsy. Yeah, agree on the skid. This is the kind of thing that would get moved by a skid loader or forklift, at least with those wheels.WeberWho said:

A grill made out of wood probably isn't the best idea.

I know a guy who has a forklift, space to store it, and loves to entertain. I would toss a hundo his way if it would help.nolaegghead said:

Looks like a 500? Or just the angle, if it’s a 590 that’s a bargain ….lol on the wheels,WeberWho said:

I've heard of these on the forum, but never seen one. It's outside my normal FB MP range, but thought it would be fun to post. Looks top heavy.

I would buy it if it had the cap and the front screen. I would drive to Alabama tonight!RyanStl said:I've heard of these on the forum, but never seen one. It's outside my normal FB MP range, but thought it would be fun to post. Looks top heavy.

Why would anyone need more than one PK360? You could’ve used that money towards something you haven’t been able to afford in a while, like a prime brisket from COSTCO.Ton_Til said:This one was fun. Now I have 2
