BEWARE of scam fraudulent sites pretending to sell Big Green Eggs

You may have seen Google ads for several websites claiming to be "outlets" or sale prices of 80-90% off Big Green Eggs and eggsessories. Big Green Egg does not discount products online. Third party sites advertising as Factory Stores or Outlets are NOT legitimate sites. Only legitimate bricks+mortar dealers (https://biggreenegg.com/find-a-dealer/) are authorized to offer products online.

Like many specialty products, the Big Green Egg is currently available exclusively through a network of distributors and Authorized Dealers (Retailers) who are knowledgeable about the EGG and its many features and pride themselves on customer support. Discount Clubs and other similar entities are not Authorized Dealers, and are in effect reselling products they have acquired elsewhere. Big Green Egg does not recognize or offer a warranty on any EGG purchased from an unauthorized online reseller, so be wary of anyone claiming to be an online Big Green Egg dealer. For Authorized Dealer online EGG sales, delivered to your home by a certified dealer in your community, visit http://shop.biggreenegg.com/

    twenty-year+ user, and have encountered one dealer that was knowledgeable and gave great support



    im still looking after 20 years.  bge set me up with an online dealer in tennessee back then but has backed me up over the years with the warranty so thats been good. dealers around here, well not so good

    Haha - my local dealer has a big display, but ask for a price on hinges or some other component they don’t stock as it’s 15 minutes in a 4” binder.  Yes, binder.  To come up with - I know we can order it, just not sure of the price.

    ace has the big binder as well, coming up on two years for a dome temp gage. glad i didnt pay upfront for it. dont really need it now but its the principle

    I have a friend that bought online, but not at a discount. It looks now like that wasn’t a BGE dealer, but since he paid full price, does the warranty still count?

    I am confused, are these scam fraudulent sites really selling eggs or just pretending to sell them?  If I buy a pretend egg can I get pretend warranty parts?

    I received an email from a lawyer in Nigeria telling me that my long lost uncle passed.  I am his only surviving relative and I am set to inherit his BGE collection, I just need to wire money for shipping.

    My dealer went bankrupt.  I do still have my receipt though.  Hopefully another dealer will honor it if ever needed
