You’re a good man. Stay well and warm.Coleman, Texas
Large BGE & Mini Max for the wok. A few old camp Dutch ovens and a wood fired oven. LSG 24” cabinet offset smoker. There are a few paella pans and a Patagonia cross in the barn. A curing chamber for bacterial transformation of meats...
"Bourbon slushies. Sure you can cook on the BGE without them, but why would you?"

Great gesture Ron, how about someone coming down from Va. to sample your peach pork butt, sriracha blue cheese cole slaw, Sequoia Grove wine and bourbon slushies? Asking for a friend?LGE Mechanicsville Va, XLGE Wake Va., LGE Duck NC.

Mighty fine offer, Ron. I don’t need a place to crash, ‘cause in my neck of the woods, the white stuff falls half the year - about a foot today. That being said, I’ll fly or drive down to taste from your cellar and enjoy your cooks. 😊

Restocked with 4 Roses, single barrel select, bottled without using cold filtering process. Pretty tasty. Come on up. Choosing the Holiday season, no guarantees, but I know where to get more.SciAggie said:I was packing my bags until I remembered the great eggnog disaster of 2020. Not sure they have recovered. Great engineering. No longer just a great way to cook a monster ribeye, now used for life or death situations.SGH said:

Pipes are still frozen under house but was able to fill buckets from the main faucet.Seriously though, any idea how long this situation with water and energy will continue?
It does seem, that in the last 5 years, we have lived in more “once in a hundred years” freak anomalies or disasters, than any other period of my life time. This is just crazy.
The offer of our humble abode remains, should anyone need or want.Stay safe, stay warm."Knowledge is Good" - Emil Faber

Our house has exposed copper pipe from previous owners water softener. It doesn't usually get cold enough here on the Florida Space Coast, but I keep a heating pad handy for nights when the temperature is predicted to reach freezing. Wrap the heating pad around the exposed pipe and turn it on before the temp drops so the water from the street meter is warmed enough to not freeze the pipe. Only needed to do that three times since we have owned the house. EDIT - I realize this only works if we have power, otherwise I would turn on that faucet and allow it to drip until the temperature rose above freezing.Photo Egg said:
