Award Winning Brisket Chili Heaven

Options
I have seen this recipe from the Underwoods floating around on the forum for years.  This is my second time making it and I am amazed that it is total perfection.  I made a few modifications, cut back cayenne, added black beans.  So good my friends and family are always requesting it.  I plan to cook an extra brisket in the future just to have one in the freezer to make chili on demand.  You need to give this a try.  Recipe can be found on the forum or the Underwoods website Itsmyrub.com.

Everything they make is amazing!! Wonderful people, and that RUB!! Oh it's so good. Power blend on a rack of beef ribs may be the best bbq I ever made.

You can make that same chili recipe and not use brisket, it tastes great with good ole ground beef too!

I had a brisket fail but the chili I made afterwards was stunning.  Thanks for the recipe!

Agreed. Chili and spaghetti sauce always benefit from some time in the fridge or freezer, IMO.
