I have seen this recipe from the Underwoods floating around on the forum for years. This is my second time making it and I am amazed that it is total perfection. I made a few modifications, cut back cayenne, added black beans. So good my friends and family are always requesting it. I plan to cook an extra brisket in the future just to have one in the freezer to make chili on demand. You need to give this a try. Recipe can be found on the forum or the Underwoods website Itsmyrub.com.

Would love a bowl for breakfast right now.
I need to do brisket more often, just for the chili.
You can make that same chili recipe and not use brisket, it tastes great with good ole ground beef too!

Made this today. I used leftover Prime Rib Roast from Xmas.
Didn't have any of the "my rubs" but just used a combo of Dizzy Pig products.
(No disrespect to the Underwoods)
This was amazing chili! Perfect for the 2+ inches of snow that fell today in Austin.
The heat was maybe a smidge too much but better to be over than under, IMHO.
I know what I'll be having tomorrow nignt for Alabama/Ohio State!
