Usually I'm more considerate with loaner tools. I really try not to borrow tools at all for that very reason.

I will say this so far.... I know I've been a little harsh. Perhaps a bit of my mental state with things lately, who knows?
but anyway.
SmoBot rocks.
It can do everything a forced air system can at the daisy wheel. This little thing has impressed the hell out of me in so many ways. Quality construction, thoughtful design..... a few areas that can use some work... and I'm on beta code. So it's not even a fair analysis.
But so far, I'm giving it a thumbs up for sure. I just need help with the headers. -
I'll add that I'm not that excited about FB. I haven't used it but I've heard it's cloud only. I'm not anti cloud. Just pro-solitude.
And I think I'm done with forced air.

I have only cleaned it once in the two years I have had mine. Usually if it is stuck you can just pop it loose with a finger nail and it will rotate. I did actually break down and try to clean it with bar keepers friend and scotch bright. I wound up in the shop with a pneumatic angle grinder with a scotch bright wheel. Should be good to go for a few more years.

Very kind of you @caliking but I will save you the postage. I just ordered a 25’ roll for $6 off of eBay. I may find more uses for this stuff, lots of wires and exhaust systems around here.

I'd hoped this would have been a flawless performance. My plan was to exit after this... but the device isn't even worthy of connecting to the cloud so far. And clearly after 15 years of Rock's we still have a REALLY long way to go.
