    Excellent! Thanks for posting.

I hate it when I go to the kitchen for food and all I find are ingredients!

I have to say that this made me laugh out loud.

No, only locations of pig farmers and BBQ. That’s farm to table for you northern Carolina folk.

I dunno.  “Pepsa’cola” is most definitely a staple in SC country.

@Carolina Q if BBQ places are supposed to look like Scott’s if you are ever up in Windsor NC stop by Bunns BBQ and make sure to ask for a corner piece of cornbread (that’s what they use for the pulled pork sandwich). Wife and I make a run down their a couple times a summer from Va Beach.

    Edisto Island

    Hunting Island State Park

Lake Jocassee and all the waterfalls and trails in the area

Downtown Charleston and the variety of restaurants

    Downtown Beaufort

South Carolina has the coast and nothing else. Inland SC is a sh!thole. Having lived outside of Columbia for four years, this is a first hand statement. There’s a reason a good part of it is called the Corridor of Shame.

The last decade of economic boom passed right over central SC. It looks the same as it did a decade ago while areas like Charlotte are almost unrecognizable.

I agree there are many areas that are poverish and not much going on. But that’s about par for the course in most states.  Good areas and not so good areas. We have some great fishing lakes inland, and downtown Greenville has really gotten nice over the past several years too. The mountainous areas in the NW portion of SC around the Blue Ridge Parkway are beautiful.

The nice things in SC were created through God or Science depending on your beliefs, not by man.
