I’ve been working on my pie game. With help from folks here, I’ve tested some pie dough/crust recipes, and improved my technique as well.
In lieu of a cake, I opted to make a raspberry pear pie. The Big Clock went tits up yesterday, so this was done on the LBGE. First time trying a lattice top. Looks pretty good, but I haven’t sliced into it yet.

*yawn* what? Another killer cook from Ashish? Really?
You do not cook.
Instead you roll out masterpieces like a boss and make everyone look bad.
Awesome pie my friend.
I dare not show this cook to My Beautiful Wife, she would be super Jelly. Pie baking is her specialty, do not do this at BB..please...."Knowledge is Good" - Emil Faber

Great looking pie. There’s a book called “The Art of the Pie”. Good book if you want to learn pie making. Got my wife’s copy at Blue Willow Bookstore at Memorial and Dairy Ashford.
