Chicken Wings by Chef Norah Grace

Tonight Chef Norah Grace and I made some wings, seasoned with Dizzy Dust, Peruvian-ish and a touch of Ghost. Cooked at 400 for about 60mins then tossed 1/2 of the wings in Franks Buffalo and the other 1/2 in Alabama White Sauce. We served them with roasted sprouts, it was an amazing meal.

@epcotisbest yep well enough to watch her work and answer a few questions about settings. She was having trouble getting the temp to settle in.....I felt useful.

Great cook and pics right there. Would not have expected anything less. Glad you are making progress although I'm sure not at the pace you want.

@mEGG_My_Day doing ok, hoping to get to life sometime soon. Having an ALIF procedure done again and spinal stimulator install done at the end of May. Thinking I may be able to get back to work by December of this year if I’m lucky. I’m so tired of being at home, I’m use to working 60ish hrs per week l, so this is killing me. Wife and I have looked at a few condos, which I hate, but is probably our best long term option. The problem is some of them do not permit charcoal grills, as the “smell” can be offensive. So obviously those places are out. I’m sure it will all work out just fine, and we will find or build the right place.

@YukonRon she did take the photos as well. She’s enjoying her hobby

@NorthGaDawg she purchased it, but after she tasted it she started looking at how to make her own.

Norah Grace, here's a link to the recipe for Big Bob Gibson's white sauce. Also, some photos of the finished product. The YouTube video shows the real deal at Gibson's. Looks identical to @Florida Grillin Girl's recipe.

I hate it when I go to the kitchen for food and all I find are ingredients!

    Alabama White Barbecue Sauce

    Ingredients:

    1 cup mayonnaise

    1 cup cider vinegar

    1 tablespoon lemon juice

    1 1/2 tablespoons black pepper

    1/2 teaspoon salt

    1/4 teaspoon cayenne

    Preparation:

Mix ingredients together and refrigerate for at least 8 hours before using. Brush lightly over chicken, turkey or pork during the last few minutes of grilling. This barbecue sauce is also great as a dipping sauce so set some aside before you start grilling to serve on the table

@ryantt - stay strong my friend. I had a health issue a few years ago that kept me out of pocket for two months. It was frustrating as hell. I can’t imagine your frustration.
