Yeti's new loadout product coming soon.......
I have way too many Yeti products, and generally keep up with what is going on in their product development. I was never a fan of the loadout bucket.....but this i kinda like.

My toolbag is heavy enough as it is. No need to add another 20lbs of Yeti to it.
-
Don't think of it as a toolbox. Think of it as your vodka and party box.

My prediction is that this becomes one of their best selling items. If its as over engineered as the coolers it makes total sense. Working on the farm? Throw this thing in the back of the pickup and let it bang around. Need an industrial strength tackle box for offshore or bay fishing? Done. Construction crew needing something for the jobsite? Done. As usual the kicker is the price.

Just saw that they are $250 bucks. That aint bad if it can withstand the abuse of a construction site.

the way things walk away on jobsites, that wouldnt stand a chance. ill wait til some addict sells it out of the trunk of his car for 20 bucks

Looks awful small. I’d like to see a larger one in the 50-60qt range. Lord knows they’re just thin walled ice chests with zero insulation. Gotta use them molds for something else, those high dollar one time purchase ice chests have hit the end of the road. My bet is sales on ice chests are flat, Yeti getting creative on how to stay market relevant. Kudos to them

It seems as though Pelican and Yeti are trying to poach each other's markets...

On the topic of Yeti coolers, I can't believe how many of those things they are selling!!! I've mentioned be before, but my wife works at one of the subcontract builders of the hardside coolers and they are putting out over 700 a day 5-6 days a week...Not sure yet if they will be building these.
-
Maybe? Stay tuned...

What? No prize for the first person to get one?😉
Robin - if you are on the fence about the load out bucket don't be. Throw your hat over the fence and buy one without concern - those things are the bomb. Put 50 pounds of tools in there and it doesn't flex or deform, put the lid on and it is legit waterproof and dustproof.
Awesome for carrying all the crap you need for a construction project around the house or on the farm, great for tossing hunting gear into, holds a bunch of beer and ice in a pinch.
Two thumbs up.

No....I am a fast learner. Actually still don’t have the boomer dog bowl, but could be talked into that one. I really do find their business model and products interesting to follow. I have far to many vessels (for all occasions) and enough coolers in various sizes that keep me on the verge of devorice.

I’m also a fan of the bucket and the waterproof lid! I’ve carried cast nets, fishing gear, doves, shells, ducks, a big ole goose, crawfish, sardines, sand fleas, tons of other bait, ice, beer, peanuts... it’s great! I could have done that with another bucket but it would have cracked a long time ago. I really dig the caddy too.

Best dove hunting bucket ever.
If my wife finds out she owns half of a $130 bucket she will kill me.

Not sure where I could hide it. I mean store it. Intended as a rescponsr to @Spaightlabs

You could save $200 by buying one of the million other waterproof cases out there and apply a YETI sticker on it so you feel good.

The sad part about it, I bet I have 50 (gift for registering) stickers with no place to put them.

I use the Red Milwaukee job site boxes. Get them at Home Depot. Indestructible and cheap!
-
Home depot sells totes for 10 bucks, and duct tape. Whabam, waterproof carry all.

I swore I would never buy a Yeti but this popped up last night for $150.
I do like the taller shape of the 50 quart.

I was in the swear off Yeti camp for a few years until I was gifted one. It’s where it all started. Prolly not your last. Cheers

Do tools need 10 extra pounds of insulation to keep them cold? I’m not advocating for this thing as it’s probably way overpriced, but I wonder if the added weight isn’t terrible.

I have that exact cooler it’s my go to for sure. The 50 design is great.

Don’t take this the wrong way, but I don’t see Duke profs hauling around tool boxes too often. Yes, 12lbs makes a huge difference to someone toting it around every day.
