Fun tip: Figurados are generally constructed by the factory’s most skilled workers (as they’re a little trickier to roll) - a good reason to buy them over standard shapes and sizes. Similarly, a brand’s most popular size is often its poorest specimen with respect to construction.

Don't think the problem is with the mobile version.

@Aubie1 actually it is. It's forcing photos into "landscape" orientation instead of "portrait" which is how most of my images are taken.

Anybody else having trouble with dry cigars from cigar.com? Here’s a picture of my most recent delivery. I expect the cigars need to rest a few days, but so dry that I can’t get the plastic wrapper off the cigar without tearing? – that’s a dry cigar.
I’m trying to get through to customer support now. This is the third order in a row this is happened.

They should be happy to make that right with you.

Their response was to leave them in the humidor longer that they’ll rehumidify after at least a week. Meh.

That phalanx I’m aiming right now is outstanding. Definitely
more my chewy style..
as far as CS, they said I can return all unsmoked cigars. I get it. Cigars are delicate. I’ll see if they settle down.
The man o wars were five packs - 5 of five. Maybe just a bad pack.
The Diesels are my overall favorite right now. I bulk up when they go on sale. Really hoping they come around...

@MaskedMarvel : You should not accept any cigar in a condition of sub-optimal humidity. Nor should you allow any merchant to convince you to accept said dry cigar.
When cigars dry out, it is not just water that they lose. A dry cigar has also lost its oils. The problem with this is that the oils are responsible for imparting a cigar’s flavour.
You can re-humidify a dry cigar, which will serve to have the leaves absorb water. You cannot restore oils that have evaporated from a cigar and consequently, cannot restore a dry cigar’s original flavour.
If you’re being told to simply re-humidify cigars that have been shipped to you dry, it’s either out of ignorance or malice. Either way, you’ve got a good reason to shop elsewhere.

Yeah.. I’ll be using different sites from now On. Cigar.com WAS cheap, tho.
Here is their reaponse to my complaint—
Damien,
We apologize for the experience you’re having with your cigars. During transit, cigars lose some moisture since any time outside of a humidor begins to dry them out. That said, cigars are a natural product and rejuvenation is possible if given time to do so. The best way to do this is to let the cigars rest in your humidor for a few days to restore the moisture in them. And, keep the cellophane wrappers on your cigars; cellophane is porous, the humidity or moisture in your humidor will be absorbed by your cigar. You should notice a difference in a few days, but please allow them to rest for up to a week after receiving them.
If you do not notice a change in a week, please get in touch with us. We have a fantastic 30-day return policy and are happy to set up a return for any uncut and unsmoked cigars. Please keep in mind that the cigars also need to be in the original cellophane wrapper.
We appreciate your patience. If you have additional questions, please let us know at your earliest convenience.
Sincerely,
Becky
