Nola noticed you were wearing Crocs in the hello Kitty photo. Ever tried wearing Hey Dude shoes?  Great slip on shoes. Amazon carries them.

I know you like tractors yourself, I went and looked at a John Deere 7310 today. Thinking real seriously about pulling the trigger on it.

It’s not new, it’s a 2016 with real low hours on it. Thought about getting it just because. I don’t need it, I just want it. They probably won’t take my offer. But you never know. It would look real good parked next to my Welfare Wagon.

That’s why I have lost 64 pounds. I can’t afford to eat because unfortunately I have poor ole SGH’s money.

Well if you pull the trigger and you think the money wagon could drag it bring it up if you want to play, will be working ground in about 3 weeks.

I don’t think the Welfare Wagon will tow that one.
On a separate note, what part of Alaska are you in? Back in the late 80’s through the mid 90’s I worked all over Alaska. I would like to go back someday.

It’s ribeye, prime.  And @DoubleEgger used an Umai bag.  No significant difference to naked.
Were they aged in the same chamber? Sorry for the interrogation, I've began a little charcuterie with the help of @Sea2Ski; just bacon and sausages so far. I've read about the Umai bags for whole muscle and larger, longer aged products so I was just curious.
No. We both did one starting the same day at each of our houses. No difference. No need to buy the bags.
OK, so some of the difference could be due to the aging in 2 different refrigerators. That's good info. Humidity level one fridge to another could be significant.

I’m sure there are variables in play and the process overthought but anyone is welcome to drop $400 on two prime ribeyes and see for yourself. Six people were at the get together and our conclusion was unanimous.

I’ve dry aged a few times but I honestly don’t care for it that much. I won’t be doing it again.

Not disputing your taste test at all. I would have lost money by guessing the lighter colored primal/crust was the naked one and the darker was the bag. For your taste, do you care for 14-21 day? I have read that a lot of people don't like anything over 21. My strip loin experiment was with a smaller loin but I was surprised at the moisture loss after only 30 days. Going to cook up a couple full size steaks on Saturday but my initial, smaller test steak cook was not to my liking either.
    Thanks for posting!
