It’s not new, it’s a 2016 with real low hours on it. Thought about getting it just because. I don’t need it, I just want it. They probably won’t take my offer. But you never know. It would look real good parked next to my Welfare Wagon.alaskanassasin said:Haha what in the world are you going to do with that much tractor @sgh???Location- Just "this side" of Biloxi, Ms.

On a separate note, what part of Alaska are you in? Back in the late 80’s through the mid 90’s I worked all over Alaska. I would like to go back someday.Location- Just "this side" of Biloxi, Ms.

OK, so some of the difference could be due to the aging in 2 different refrigerators. That's good info. Humidity level one fridge to another could be significant.DoubleEgger said:
No. We both did one starting the same day at each of our houses. No difference. No need to buy the bags.dharley said:
Were they aged in the same chamber? Sorry for the interrogation, I've began a little charcuterie with the help of @Sea2Ski; just bacon and sausages so far. I've read about the Umai bags for whole muscle and larger, longer aged products so I was just curious.bgebrent said:It’s ribeye, prime. And @DoubleEgger used an Umai bag. I’m sure there are variables in play and the process overthought but anyone is welcome to drop $400 on two prime ribeyes and see for yourself. Six people were at the get together and our conclusion was unanimous.Photo Egg said:

I’ve dry aged a few times but I honestly don’t care for it that much. I won’t be doing it again. -

Not disputing your taste test at all. I would have lost money by guessing the lighter colored primal/crust was the naked one and the darker was the bag. For your taste, do you care for 14-21 day? I have read that a lot of people don't like anything over 21. My strip loin experiment was with a smaller loin but I was surprised at the moisture loss after only 30 days. Going to cook up a couple full size steaks on Saturday but my initial, smaller test steak cook was not to my liking either.DoubleEgger said:
